Dr. Ziad Eskandar aka (DR. Z) is an experienced dentist with advanced training in implant, restorative, and surgical dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2008. His clinical education also includes oral surgery externships at New York University, Tufts University, Washington Hospital, and Boston Medical Center.
Dr. Eskandar has pursued extensive continuing education in implant dentistry and advanced tooth-replacement procedures, including single-tooth implants, implant-supported restorations, and full-mouth treatment. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, he has demonstrated a significant commitment to advanced education and clinical excellence in implant dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Eskandar has performed more than 1,000 dental implant procedures, helping patients replace missing or failing teeth and regain the ability to smile, speak, and eat with confidence. His approach combines careful treatment planning, modern dental technology, and personalized restorative design to create solutions focused on comfort, function, appearance, and long-term oral health.
Dr. Eskandar believes that conservative and preventive dentistry should remain the foundation of excellent patient care. He takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly so patients can understand their oral health and make informed, confident decisions about their care. He remains actively involved in continuing education to stay current with developments in implant dentistry, digital treatment planning, restorative materials, and dental technology.
His commitment to service has also included participation in humanitarian missions supporting underserved communities.
Dr. Eskandar provides care through Atlantic Dental Partners and Zircteeth in Jamaica Plain and Malden, Massachusetts, and Manchester, New Hampshire. Outside dentistry, he enjoys music, playing guitar, and soccer.
