How does Invisalign^® work?

Invisalign uses a series of comfortable clear aligners to shift and align the teeth. Patients are instructed to wear each aligner for at least 21 to 22 hours per day for two weeks to give the aligner enough time to shift the teeth and keep their treatment plan on track. We will schedule orthodontic appointments every four to six weeks to evaluate your progress and allow you to pick up your next set of aligners. Once your orthodontic treatment is complete, we will create a retainer for you to wear at night to keep your smile looking beautiful and straight!

How long do Invisalign treatments take?

The average treatment time for Invisalign is 12 to 18 months, although patients can have shorter or longer plans depending on their orthodontic issues.
