Zircteeth® in Malden and Jamaica Plain, MA

There are several tooth replacement options on the market today. One of the most innovative methods is Zircteeth. This treatment involves placing a permanent, implant-supported bridge to fill the gap left behind by missing teeth. If you’re considering tooth replacement, schedule your Zircteeth consultation with us today!

Zircteeth zirconia bridges are an advanced tooth replacement method that has revolutionized tooth restorations. Whether you're looking to replace a few teeth or all of them, Zircteeth bridges are a popular tooth replacement solution. They are natural-looking, long-lasting, and durable. Unlike traditional dentures that slip and slide throughout the day, Zircteeth bridges are fixed in place by lightweight titanium dental implants that fuse with the jawbone. With Zircteeth bridges, patients can enjoy a beautiful, fully functioning smile and a boost to their self-confidence!

Process of Zircteeth Placement

Before Zircteeth can be attached, you must have permanent implants placed. The process of dental implants requires surgically fusing small titanium posts into your jawbone. Once the fusion is complete and you have fully healed, we will begin fitting you for your custom Zircteeth bridge. After determining the correct shape, size, and color of your restoration, we will permanently attach your bridge to the dental implant. During your follow-up visit, we will examine how your bridge is fitting and give you any additional tips for future care.

Candidates for Zircteeth

You may qualify for Zircteeth if you meet the basic requirements for dental implants. To be considered you should:

  • Have healthy gums
  • Practice a thorough dental hygiene routine
  • Have enough bone to support anchoring implants to your jawbone
  • Refrain from harmful dental habits such as grinding or clenching

Treatment Costs

The cost of treatment varies from patient to patient, but we strive to provide our patients with affordable teeth replacement options. During your first visit, all out-of-pocket expenses will be discussed in detail depending on your individualized treatment plan. If paying for treatment is what’s keeping you from restoring your smile, we offer several financial solutions to give you more flexibility. Our office accepts CareCredit® patient financing and Compassionate Finance, giving you the ability to split the cost of treatment up into manageable payments.

Zircteeth FAQ

What is Zircteeth?

Zircteeth are a type of implant-supported bridge. That means that they bridge a gap left by a missing tooth, but instead of being fixed onto teeth with crowns on either side of that space, they’re secured in place with dental implants.

Are dental bridges painful?

Getting and having a dental bridge should not be painful! For starters, we use the necessary anesthetic and sedation during procedures to ensure that our patients don’t feel discomfort when getting the treatments that they need. If you’re experiencing pain with a dental bridge, it could be a sign that there’s an issue like an improper fit or a gum infection. Both of our teams at our different Massachusetts locations work very hard to ensure that there are no future issues with the dental work that we provide.

Do dental bridges stain?

Yes, even though dental bridges are made up of artificial teeth, they can still get stained. But these are superficial stains from foods and drinks, and with proper care, you can help avoid them. If you happen to get stains on your dental bridge, just come into one of our dental offices and we’ll see how we can reverse that.

Is Zircteeth covered by insurance?

It depends. We’re sorry we don’t have a more definitive answer for you, but there is a lot of variation in coverage between different providers and plans. We advise that you contact your insurance to figure out whether Zircteeth is covered, and if so, whether it’s completely or only for a partial amount.

How long does Zircteeth last?

If you take good care of your Zircteeth dental bridge, then it’s possible it could last you a lifetime! Taking care of it means regularly brushing and flossing with proper technique and keeping up with your dental check-ups. Atlantic Dental Partners is more than happy to give you additional tips to help you make your Zircteeth last as long as possible.
